Clover Lake

OK, all you Ashland wusses, where were you today, not that I (Hank) am one to talk given my recent attendance. I showed up at Rite Aid to find Dan and Jerry (a Monday hiker, who lives in Central Point)) there. And Dan had some questionable excuses for not being able to join us. Dan called Hans to let him know to expect two from Ashland.

Hans reported sun and high clouds while we were in a drizzle which continued until we were almost at the trail head when the sun made a minimal showing. There we found a Bob from Medford who has not hiked with our group before, but knows Hans. Hans and Diana showed up at 10 AM as he had said.

The hike was dry the whole way and the sun made a filtered showing after lunch. Lunch was by the lake which we hiked around afterwards to add a little distance to the short hike. Refreshments, if any, were taken at home. I hope to see more of you next week.
