Hyatt Lake to Greensprings Summit on the PCT
We climbed up highway 66 at 30 miles an hour in the fog. We were all fortified against the rain but it never rained hard enough to bother us. We left a shuttle at Greensprings and started the hike from Hyatt Lake.
The hike was pleasant enough but there were no views because of clouds below us. We saw a number of bow hunters looking for deer. There was plenty of water in Little Hyatt Lake.
We started early and finished early, with a few of us stopping for beer and fries at Caldera. It turned out to be a nice hike and everyone had a good time.
We all said farewell to Sunny as she was headed for the Antarctic the next day.
