JackAsh Trail – Anderson Ridge – Ashland Hiking Group

Four hikers took advantage of perfect weather to return to Anderson Ridge, John, June, Liz and Margita. June and Margita had never done the hike before which made it a special treat.

Nothing eventful to report except the fabulous views delighted as usual. Note: A plaque has been installed halfway with a picture detailing all the mountain peaks. The forest road in the last mile has some interesting potholes so take it slow.

We did the hike at a leisurely pace.

Given the fact that a) bars close the doors on us on Mondays and b) I had a small group and nary a brutish male, we retired for a drink on the terrace of Kerr Manor where Diane joined us. .
