Lost Creek Lake – Takelma TH North

We almost avoided the rain as we hiked 9.2 miles return from the Takelma TH. The weather was sunny for most of the hike. The Trail was in excellent shape and we made good time without hurrying. After 4.6 miles, and well past the Lost Lake TH, I saw threatening clouds and stopped at some convenient logs for lunch.

After lunch we headed back and hoped to beat the coming rain. We almost did but it started to pour in the last half mile. We were ready for it and didn’t get too wet.

It turned out to be a good hike with 9.2 miles of ups and downs.

We were disappointed to find Four Daughters now closed on Mondays but found refreshments at Kerr Manor. A very good day was had by all.
