Lost Creek Lake – Marina to Dam

Once again my magic pancho warded off the rain and we were checking our supplies of sunscreen on the way back. We were pleasantly surprised that few leaves had fallen from the trees and there was brilliant foliage. There was little water in the lake although we saw a few fishermen going after the trapped fish.

For once the entire dam was exposed and from our vantage point we estimated it was about 120 feet high. Turns out that the actual dam height is 327 feet.

A lot of pictures were taken and everyone was in a jovial mood. We finished with beer at Kerr manor accompanied by popcorn and some French cheese, an odd combination, but popular.
