Applegate Lake

It was a lovely, sunny day for a hike along the shores of the not quite so empty Applegate Reservoir. Fortunately the trail passed thru cool, shady woods most of the way, so we did not have to worry about overheating or overdosing on vitamin D. Only at lunch did some – but not all – of us hazard exposure to the sun. Trail conditions were good, with no significant puddling and only one downed tree to bypass.
