Devils Peak – Seven Lakes Basin

The hike started with 50 degree weather and it was a perfect day for a hike. The trail has some spectacular views of the 7 Lakes Wilderness area, including the lakes we hiked to last week.

Once on top, there was a 360 degree view from Mt. Shasta to Mt. McLoughlin to the Klamath Basin to Union Peak and Mt. Thielsen.

After the hike, we headed to Butte Falls, expecting to find our favorite places for pie/ice cream or fries/beer. To our shock, there was not a bar nor cafe that was open in town. So we headed home. A good time was had by all.
