Lower Rogue – Grave Creek to Alder Creek
Six of us decided to hike on the lower Rogue River and we had a beautiful blue sky day.
There was an array of wildflowers in bloom and we stopped to admire them many times. We also saw that people were already out in rafts floating down the river.
We continued along the trail and took our lunch just beyond Alder Creek. As we were relaxing having a “Maria” lunch, Leslie spotted some turtles sunning themselves on the rocks.
On the way back 5 of us stopped at the Whiskey Creek Cabin since Leslie had not been there before. Liz opted to go down to the river and enjoy more of the sunshine. We met back up and headed back to the cars and then headed home.
