Hobart Bluff from Green Springs Summit

We had a Pick ’em Monday where the hikers voted for their favorite hike and Hobart Bluff won by a landslide. With clear skies and temps in the low 70s Hobart Bluff was a perfect choice.

We parked off Highway 66 at Green Springs Summitt for the 8 mile out and back. We met five through hikers on the trail as well as several local hikers.

It was calm and clear on top of the Bluff and everyone had worked up an appetite after the 800′ climb. We welcomed Patricia back to the Monday hikes and she and Sunny really enjoyed the 8 mile RT to Hobart.

Four of us took refreshments on the deck at Coco Rico after the hike.
