Hobart Bluff
Nine of us started the hike under clear skies and high 60 degree weather. There were some flowers out, but not all had decided it was time to bloom yet. Trilliums were in abundance, along with some small lilies (one being Fawn Lillies).
We hit snow on the trail at about 5,000 feet elevation, but it was only in the north facing, tree covered parts, so no problem getting to the top. The views were amazing, with green being the dominate color everywhere. Mt. Shasta, Mt. Ashland and Mt. McLoughlin were in clear view. After a leisurely lunch, we headed back to the car and off to the Greensprings Inn for refreshments.
