Park Creek TH to Cement Bluff – Ashland Hiking Group

We loaded 6 passengers into the Hilander and headed off for California. Sunny drew the rumble seat but her physical training paid off and she was soon ensconced in a sort of bird’s nest. We picked up Vicki Hammon on the way down and off we went. The temperature was chilly at the TH but I had warned the hikers and they were layered for the season.

It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and it warmed up as we went. The hiker friendly trail allowed us to make good time to the lunch spot on Cement Bluff. The views were exceptional.

We stopped off at Caldera on the way home for beer and fries. A great day.
