East View Trail – Ashland Hiking Group

Some of us decided to hike on the East View Trail, which starts off Tolman Creek Road almost to Four Corners. This 7.6+ mile round trip hike was new to most of us. The website HikingProject.com indicated it was less popular and had great views. We found the trail well marked and mostly weaved through the forest with some viewpoints along the way. Unfortunately for us the clouds did not part, so it was generally gray in the clouds with no views. However, it was great to get outdoors, breath some fresh air and reconnect with friends. I do recommend others to check out the HikingProject.com website, for it gave us weather, GPS track for the hike and Google directions to my phone to find the trailhead.
