Rogue River Gorge to Natural Bridge

We started out at the Rogue River Gorge in chilly weather. After 1 1/2 miles you cross Union Creek and in another 1 1/2 miles you reach the Bridge to Nowhere. Great views of the Rogue River along the way.

We decided to cross the river and climb the hills towards Natural Bridge on the other side. We were rewarded with good views down to the river. Eventually we headed down after 600 feet of ascent. It was 4.2 miles in total to the first viewpoint for Natural Bridge.

After lunch near the Natural Bridge bridge we headed back on the other side towards Union Creek. The bridge across Union Creek is just before where the Creek flows into the Rogue. The total hike was 8.25 miles in what became a beautiful day.
