PCT across Brown Mountain

It seemed that no one aside from me had done the lava fields and 2 had never done them at all, so the hike was changed to a stroll down the PCT for 3 miles through the lava fields. The weather was perfect as usual and there was lots of water in Four Mile Creek.

The mountain views were excellent and we saw some white birds at high altitude which we took to be snow geese.

Following the hike we sat outside at Lake of the Woods and enjoyed a nice breeze.
