Wagner Butte
Eleven of us headed out to conquer Wagner Butte. The weather was expected to be in the lower 70’s for the day and all was perfect for a Wednesday hike.
Although the ground was relatively dry, there were many flowers including Tiger Lilies, plus lots of grass and green vegetation everywhere. We ran into Linda and Randy taking the very direct route up the Sheep Creek Slide.
Lunch was taken on top with incredible views, especially given is was July and there were fires burning in Northern California. Shasta and McLoughlin were clearly visible.
We all headed back down to the cars and drove to the Pump House in Talent for refreshments. All had a good time.
