PCT- Hyatt Lake to Greensprings Summit

Nine of us headed up to Hyatt Lake to hike along the PCT to Greensprings Summit, despite the forecast of rain most of the day. We truly lucked out today. The temperature was in the mid 50’s and no rain. When we got to our lunch spot the sun even came out and the views were perfect from Pilot Rock and Mt. Ashland and going west down the Rogue Valley.

We did pass one PCT through Hiker from Texas who was heading south from Washington/Canada boarder because he had to skip the PCT starting at Etna Pass north due to fires. We all had a good time and enjoyed be outside without the rain.
