Buck Prairie

We had a diminished crew for various reasons that led to cancellations, but we three bashed on and did 5 1/2-6 miles in mostly sunshine. The snow started out hard then softened a bit. At the endpoint we relaxed in the sun. For the most part we had the trail to ourselves and then along came some cross-country skiers.

After our break in the sun, Sunny demonstrated her unique approach to getting up from a sitting position on snowshoes. The 5th try was brilliant and up she went.

It was a good outing in the sun.
