Union Creek to Natural Bridge
Some of us headed north to the Union Creek area to hike from the Rogue River Gorge Viewpoint down to the Natural Bridge and back. It was an overcast day and colder than most of realized before starting.
The views of the river were wonderful, but it is sad to see how low the water is for this time of year. There was more snow on the path than I expected, but it was manageable. We did see 3 other people around the picnic area at Natural Bridges, but the trail was void of other hikers.
It will be good when we can come back in a month or so and see the spring flowers, along with “hopefully” more water.
We made it back to our cars just as the rain began, so timing worked out perfectly.
