Grizzly Peak
Today we hiked to the top of Grizzly Peak to see if we could find the Gray-crowned Rosy-finch birds that some have seen recently there. It was not meant to be, but it was a perfect excuse to go hiking, plus we had great weather.
The last mile of the road was a bit icy and the trail had many slick patches along the way, but we made it without any injuries. The air was very clear so we could see Shasta on one side and the Crater Lake area on the other.
