Lost Creek Lake

A hardy group of 11 hikers brushed off reports of rain and were rewarded with a rain free hike along Lost Creek lake, over the bridge and up the mouth of the Lake. The three waterfalls on the hike were at their best. There was a bit of deadfall and a lot of small branches torn off by high winds. One very large tree had split open on one side and was leaning down the hill.

Our lunch at the destination waterfall was enjoyed to the sound of a huge rush of water.

We did the hike by leaving a shuttle car at Lewis Road to avoid having to backtrack all the way.

Most of us convened at Caldera afterwards.
