Applegate Lake

Weather at the former Applegate Lake ranged from sunny to cloudy. There was a remnant of the lake near the dam, but as we went farther upstream the lake bottom was exposed with the Applegate River meandering thru it. We stopped about 100 yards short of the Copper boat ramp and didn’t think of walking to it to look for remnants of the submerged town of Copper.
