Applegate Lake

Turned out to be a nice day for a hike. Mostly overcast with some sun breaks.

The Applegate River was out of its banks in several places between Ruch and the dam, so we were surprised that the Corps was not retaining more water in the lake. In fact, the lake bottom was visible in places near the north end of the lake near the dam.

Brigitte Bardot, now 78 and still active in animal causes, came up in a discussion of cloning. Recent photo below.
